Cooking
Grace greatly enjoys cooking and baking, with a particular interest in making sweet dishes and desserts. Moving forward, we will also be focusing on healthy eating and nutrition to encourage her to broaden her cooking skills and try a wider variety of meals. Through cooking activities, Grace independently organises ingredient lists, weighs and measures ingredients, and works within a budget. These activities help to develop her practical life skills, organisation, and confidence in the kitchen.
Chicken care
Grace is responsible for helping to care for our pet chickens. When they were younger, she helped to build a small enclosure for them. She now tends to them daily by ensuring they are fed, watered, and kept in a clean environment. She also makes sure their living area is cleaned regularly when they are not outside. These responsibilities help to develop her sense of routine, responsibility, and animal care skills.
Trip to Wildlife park
Grace attended a visit to Yorkshire Wildlife Park with the Doncaster home education group. She thoroughly enjoyed the experience, particularly seeing the giraffes, as they are one of her favourite animals. During the visit, she also engaged in outdoor play and social interaction with other children. We look forward to attending more activities and educational opportunities with local home education groups in the future.
real life studies
Grace takes part in a variety of real-life learning experiences designed to help build her confidence, independence, and practical life skills. These include activities such as cooking, educational visits, animal care, and trips within the community. Through these experiences, Grace is developing communication skills, responsibility, problem-solving abilities, and increased confidence in everyday situations.

Make up
Grace likes to practice make up application and create multiple looks famous people and characters from the books she reads.
Careers information
Grace completed a series of information booklets based on potential career choice. She showed a particular interest in marine biology and carried out detailed research into the profession, including the qualifications required, the length of study and training involved, and potential career earnings.
